Cassette Installation

Icestream cassettes are designed to be used in single system (1 indoor unit to 1 outdoor unit) or multi system (multiple indoor units to 1 outdoor unit) configurations. Single indoor units are compatible with multi systems.

In standard models, Icestream cassettes are equipped with an outdoor drain pump, located outside the cassette, with a height of 750mm.

Durability

Icestream cassettes are developed for significant durability. All our products come with a 5-year compressor warranty and a 3-year parts warranty.

In addition, the outdoor unit is treated with an anti-corrosion coating to withstand weather conditions and ensure a long service life. This makes it an ideal solution for coastal locations.

Remote Control

Each Icestream cassette air conditioner comes with two remote controls: an infrared remote control for easy remote control and a programmable wired remote control for personalized air conditioning management.

For maximum comfort, the “follow me” function on the remote control allows you to request the temperature you want where the remote control is located, rather than where the cassette is. This function is available across the entire range of Icestream cassettes.

WiFi Option

This option allows you to control your air conditioner remotely via your smartphone or tablet, offering maximum flexibility in managing the comfort of your space.

The WiFi option is ideal for short-term rentals (Airbnb, etc.). It allows you to remotely adjust the operation and temperature you want in the accommodation: no more heating your accommodation when it is not occupied.

What is Cassette Air Conditioning?

Cassette air conditioning is a split air conditioning system characterized by its indoor unit recessed in the ceiling or false ceiling of the room to be air-conditioned. Cassette air conditioners are also available in reversible versions, offering both cooling and heating functions.

Thanks to its discreet appearance, the cassette air conditioner blends perfectly into the room’s decor, leaving only its grille visible. Depending on the desired air flow, the four air outlets can be adjusted. Whatever the model of cassette air conditioning you choose, it will mainly consist of the following elements:

• An outdoor unit that evacuates hot or cold air outside the building.
• One or more indoor units embedded in the ceiling or false ceiling.
• Refrigerant pipes, ensuring the refrigeration cycle between the outdoor unit and the indoor unit.

Cassette air conditioning differs from wall-mounted air conditioning. Unlike the cassette, its indoor unit is not recessed in the ceiling but mounted high on a wall.
